Paper Flowers

The Process In Pictures

For this craft you will need tissue paper in assorted colors, pipe cleaners (for stems), and scissors.

  • Cut each large piece of tissue paper into six equal square pieces
  • Stack six pieces of tissue paper on top of eachoter
  • Fold up the paper accordion style
  • Fold in the middle and wrap a pipe cleaner around the center
  • Use scissors to round of the edges
  • Fan out paper and begin peeling up layers one by one
  • Shape your flower
Solid Color Flower:
For a solid flower simply stack 6 sheets of whichever color you would like.

Double Colored Flower:
For a double colored flower chose two colors to alternate between.

Two Toned Flower:
Chose one color for the inside of the flower and one for the outside. Stack three sheets of the inside color on top of three sheets of the outside color.

Rainbow Flower:
Stack 6 different colors of your choice on top of each other for this fun effect.

These flowers are so fun and easy to make. Use them to brighten someones day, or decorate your home.
